Abu Helal

Location: North of Dahab and 3Km south of Canyon

Depth: 30 meters

Description: Entry to the site is marked by a signboard. Descend to a sandy lagoon with a semi-circular shape at a depth between 7 – 12 meters: keeping the reef to the left explore the coral garden. The western wall descends to a depth of 30 meters and has a straight split in the wall - exploring this small canyon is dangerous and not advised as once entering it is difficult to turn around and exit is too small to return from. Stay on the coral garden which extends into second immersed bay with sandy bottom from which you exit the site.
