PLEASE NOTE: In peak winter season the temperatures at night can drop to approximately 9°C. Yes - it does get cold in Egypt, so bring warm clothing to cover up with – especially if you are planning an overnight trip to climb Mount Sinai – or an overnight stay in the desert.
Vaccinations
We are not aware of any requirements for vaccinations when travelling to Egypt at the moment. However, many of you may prefer to speak with your local GP for information about this. Some people may feel more comfortable if vaccinated. Ask your doctor about Polio, Hepatitis A and Tetanus in advance.
