When we heard this news today, from our gifted colleagues at Manage My Website, who lovingly helped us design the site late last year, we were very proud and excited to share it with you.

It was a project that was a bit of a hard slog, as we wanted to be sure we truly captured the essence of Big Blue Dahab, and to give you our customers a great site to browse through. We think you will agree it was truly worth it as the end result is definitely an eye catcher! It really was a great collaboration working with the lovely Manage My Website team.

NEWSFLASH! EXCITING NEWS, THE RED SEA HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO A WHOLE NEW COLONY OF CORAL....And it has all been captured on film. The scientific breakthrough was caught live in action by the HEPCA research team. Watch this video just released by HEPCA (Hurghada Environmental Protection Agency) AMAAAAZING! Now we know why the visability was not so great not that long ago!

WHAT IS THE TURTLE WATCH SCHEME?

The Turtle Watch scheme, is basically an ongoing project, lead by HEPCA, that is aimed at the conservation and protection of the beautiful sea Turtle that we all love to encounter, when diving or snorkelling. HEPCA have recently engaged the help of local dive centres in the Red Sea region, inviting us to contribute to their research, by providing information and tools so that our guests can play an important role in this crucial work. We are so excited to be able to invite you, our divers, to take part. 

Whenever we are out exploring the stunning Red Sea, when a Turtle is spotted, our divers record the details, the information is collected by our staff and is entered into a data sheet, which is then forwarded to the HEPCA team each month. HEPCA's prime mission is to protect and conserve the terrestrial and marine ecology of the Red Sea including the Turtle. We are currently the only dive centre in Dahab actively supporting the Turtle Watch project, which we are very proud to be associated with. We recognise the importance of our efforts when it comes to protecting this beautiful, natural environment that we are blessed with.
