PADI Rescue Diver

Diving will always be associated with fun, but from the first day of your first course you probably remember how your instructor has always insisted on safety, about paying attention to your buddy and about the limits. Diving is a great, fun sport, a wonderful way to discover another world, but also an activity that has the potential to become dangerous quickly. In many different ways, a problem can occur. As a responsible diver, after doing this course you will know what to do and how to do it. You will learn exactly what to do in case of an emergency, either in or out of the water.

What the course involves:

A 3 day course, including some Knowledge Development and practical skills learnt through participation and simulating rescue scenarios such as distressed diver under water, panicking diver at the surface, or lost diver. No other course will give you such confidence, and you will potentially surprise yourself on what you can handle under stress. You will finish the course knowing how to manage emergency scenes, stress avoidance, rescue dives and with a certification that gives you the right to save lives. This is a great, fun and challenging course and worth every penny.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age 12 years old. Please note 12 – 14 year old divers may earn Junior Rescue Diver certification.
  • Must be minimum a PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver – Must have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive or be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water diver.
  • Be in possession of a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR – Primary Care) and basic first aid (Secondary Care) Certification which has been issued in the past 2 years. (If you do not have this certification, you can easily combine the Emergency First Response Course & PADI Rescue Diver course with us.
